Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Yury Potapov (an individual, Republic of Serbia) (“we”) about using the game Ketchup Strike, its online services (Siege, ranked play, progress) and this website. By installing or launching the game you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the game.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the game for non-commercial purposes. The game, its code, art, sounds, music, texts, characters and names belong to us or our licensors (see third-party licenses). You may not sell, rent or distribute the game or its parts outside Steam; decompile or modify the client or server components except where the law expressly allows it; or extract assets for use in other projects.

Streaming and making videos of the game, monetised ones included, is allowed and welcome; please name the game.

The game is distributed through Steam, so the Steam Subscriber Agreement applies too. Where they conflict on Steam matters, Valve's rules prevail.

2. Account and age

Your online account is created automatically from your Steam account. You are responsible for everything that happens on it. One account plays online modes from one device at a time; transferring, selling or sharing an account for ranking is not allowed.

The game is for people aged 13 and over. If you are a minor under the laws of your country, play with the consent of a parent or guardian.

3. Fair play

It is forbidden to:

• use cheats, aimbots, wallhacks, macros, client or memory modifications, or intercept and alter network traffic;
• exploit bugs for advantage instead of reporting them to support;
• fix matches, lose on purpose, boost ratings or play on someone else's account;
• attack our servers, overload services or try to access other people's data;
• break the code of conduct: insults, harassment, threats, offensive names.

4. Violations and bans

For violations we may warn you, reset your rating or progress, temporarily limit matchmaking, or block access to online modes for a time or permanently. We decide on game data, player reports and match records. You can appeal through support; a person reviews the decision. Cheats and attacks on our services may lead to a permanent ban without warning.

5. Tokens and in-game items

Tokens, levels, mastery and items you earn in the game are part of your license to the game, not your property. They have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money and cannot be transferred to other players. We may change their amounts, prices and balance, and cancel them when banning for violations. If paid purchases ever appear, their terms will be described separately and handled through Steam.

6. Player content

Your name, chat messages, graffiti, voice and other content you show in the game must respect the law and the code of conduct. You allow us to show such content to other players inside the game and to use match recordings for moderation and the game's promotional material (for example replays and trailers).

7. Early Access and changes

The game is in Early Access: it has bugs, balance, modes and content will change, and in rare cases progress may be reset; we will warn about resets in advance. We may update, change or discontinue features and online services. We will announce changes to these terms on the website; by playing after a change takes effect you accept it.

8. Disclaimer and liability

The game is free and provided “as is”, without warranties of uninterrupted operation, freedom from errors or fitness for your expectations, to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, loss of in-game progress, or failures caused by Steam, your hardware, your internet connection or other players. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited by law, including consumer rights.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Serbia. We first try to settle disputes through support; if that fails, they go to the competent court of the Republic of Serbia, unless mandatory rules of your country of residence let you go to a court where you live.

10. Other terms

If any term proves invalid, the rest remain in force. You may stop using the game at any time and ask us to delete your data. We may end the license if you break these terms. Questions go through support.
